There are signs that the population of the Peak District National Park may become increasingly elderly as people retire to “the country” from towns and cities, and younger people can no longer afford housing in the Park. What problems do you think this might bring to the communities? What changes will need to take place to preserve the agricultural nature of the Park when fewer and fewer farms can provide a full time living, even for the owner? BACK
